Tips On How To love Yourself

One way we can love ourselves is to tune in to your feelings

Sometimes we get the message that it's not OK to feel angry, sad, lonely, or scared when we are dealing with being in debt.

This is not true.

It is OK to feel these sorts of feelings when we are in a conflict or stressful situation it's a natural response.

The important point is that you need to TUNE IN to your feelings because they are telling you something. Being stressed can lead to negative feelings or cause you to react in a negative manner. Maintaining high self-esteem can be a lifelong struggle, but we can learn to feel better about ourselves in spite of the fact we are struggling with our finances.

·        Do your debts cause you to think less of yourself?

·        Does the pressure of your debts cause you to have difficulty sleeping?

·        Has the pressure of your debts ever caused you to consider getting drunk?

·        Does the pressure of your debts make you careless of the welfare of your family?

·        Do you ever fear that your employer, family or friends will learn the extent of your total indebtedness?

·        Do you justify your debts by telling yourself that you are superior to the "other" people, and when you get your "break" you'll be out of debt overnight?

Being in debt can sometimes give us the feeling we are not good enough or we have failed. We can sometimes feel desperate. This is a time to love and nurture ourselves and seek professional help in our financial decisions. If we are not educated to handle our finances, we can make unwise decisions such as borrowing money without considering the rate of interest you are required to pay. Stop Big Spending is here to give you a safe place you can talk to others who are experiencing the same feelings you are feeling. You will not have to go through this alone. Think of yourselves as a team of individuals who are cheering each other up through this stressful time. Sometimes the best therapy is found in group therapy among others who are struggling as you are.
